Earnest Desires
Wish to be free, desire to soar Like an eagle, strong and determined A dove, tranquil and soft A lovebird, chirping a song A one legged-stork, practicing restraint A Muslim, submitting to Allah, the Most High
O ALLAH we seek your refuge from the ugliness of insincerity, from disobedience, and from following other than the way of Your Messenger, Muhammad (s.a.w); from hearts that are not humbled upon receiving Your aayaat, from sins which pull us away from You, and from blinding extremes. Aameen
