Zero Hour (Some Time Alone)
Learn to not look into eyes fleeting for a period undying Seeking the stock of your comfort therein But halt
wrapped in your garments
And take a moment to yourself, alone with your Lord, The Most Loving
When a man wants to contemplate over his position and wants to organize his religious thoughts, he runs away from the atmosphere of noise and uproar and takes shelter in a quiet place. And therefore if Islam recommends silence and considers it a means of civilized training, then it is not at all surprising. ("Muslim's Character" - Muhammad al-Ghazali)
SubhanaAllah.... the last hadith hit me straight like a blow... its so true, silence is golden! JazakaAllahu khairan for the reminder...I love ur stuff!!!
O ALLAH we seek your refuge from the ugliness of insincerity, from disobedience, and from following other than the way of Your Messenger, Muhammad (s.a.w); from hearts that are not humbled upon receiving Your aayaat, from sins which pull us away from You, and from blinding extremes. Aameen
